The Marigold Foundation’s mission is to promote Marigold’s as a symbol of Christian faith.
How are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?” Romans 10:14
Growing Mary’s Gold is a humble, joyful way of spreading Christianity. Many people do not know that marigold means Mary’s gold. Telling people about Mary’s gold is a gentle way to remind them about her Son. And doing that is a beautiful way of fulfilling the duty to evangelize.
“Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.” Mark 16:15
The Marigold Foundation will take the first step by sending you a free packet of Mary’s Gold seeds.
But you need to take the next step, by planting the seeds, and nurturing them – and telling people about them. The time you spend growing Mary’s Gold, and sharing it, will keep God in your mind, and will help you to “rejoice always, and pray without ceasing, giving thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16
You can also plant some seeds, and then give others away; 1 seed will grow a large plant!
Each packet of Mary’s Gold seeds comes with a Bible verse about Mary, for example:
Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! Luke 1:42
All generations shall call me blessed. Luke 1:48
And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger. Luke 1:42
